Traverse City, Michigan

We've seen lots of sites since we arrived, and tomorrow we are heading to some more. Our place is across the street from Lakke Michigan and is beautiful. The town itself is spread out, with an old town, downtown, and an area that once was a mental institution called the Mercato. We droove out to the lighthouse at the end of the peninsula, and passed many orchards and vineyards on the way. We ate lunch at a locals grill... and watched curling on the tv! There's an old mission (Presbyterian) on the peninsula. The weather started out rainy, but later was just plain cold!!

Chicago... the Windy City!!! May 1-2, 2021. Time with Hope and Craig

We are here! First stop was Chicago. He loved staying with Hope and Craig! They gave us a wonderful tour of the Windy City! And it was windy... and warm!!

We are off!

Jim is parking the car in the long term parking! It's 4:13 am.

 We need to update our blog!!  We are now the proud grandparents of fifteen wonderful grandchildren.  Each of them is a unique creation of our Lord!  We have also been married for 53 years now.  We’ve gone through the pandemic unscathed, and we are now anxious to travel again.  We will trust the Lord for our direction in the coming year!!
